The Wirecities Cloud Data Center and Infrastructure:

Our cloud computing services are supported by a state-of-the-art Tier IV data center. The requirements for Tier IV data centers are such that the power, cooling and telecommunications must be fully redundant, and that the proper security measures are taken to ensure that the data centers are compliant with the Tier IV to Tier III standard.

  • More than 50,000 square feet of data center space including over 10,000 square feet of Tier III space and over 40,000 square feet of Tier IV space.

  • Fully redundant power and cooling (N+N) supported by seven (7) state-of-the-art rotary-powered UPS diesel generators totaling 16 megawatts and more than 4,000 tons of air conditioning

  • Fully redundant and diversified high speed network connections capable of OC192 or 9.6 Gb / second (over 100 km of fiber optic cabling). Our network is powered by numerous tier-1 internet providers as well.

  • Sophisticated security systems with a CCTV video surveillance systems supported by over three-hundred (300) cameras, controlled access supported by proximity access cards and on-site security guards.

    Hypervisors powered by Dell

Dell is one of the leading providers of server hardware. While other providers choose to build their own hypervisors, we acquire our hardware from Dell. This gives us the advantage of having hardware that was tested for durability and reliability as well as direct support from their hardware engineers.

            The Wirecities Cloud Difference:

    Powered by Openstack Nova

The OpenStack cloud operating system enables clients to leverage our on-demand computing resources, accessible via APIs for developers building cloud applications and via web interfaces for system administrators and users.

    Redundant Cloud Platform

The in-house engineered cloud platform has been designed to offer an unmatched level of redundancy. The system is designed to sustain simultaneous multiple failures at hard drive, network, power, hypervisor and storage level.

    Redundant Dell® Servers

We utilize Dell® for our server hardware because of their outstanding record in reliability and support in the IT industry. The server provided by Dell® are rigorously tested and tuned by their staff in order to maintain a perfect setup for our cloud infrastructure.

    High Performance Storage

Wirecities Cloud Servers are stored on enterprise storage with thousands of gigabytes of storage ready for instant use. The storage ensures full access to your server at all times with high levels of fault tolerance.

    Redundant Cisco® Network

Our network is powered entirely using Cisco® equipment with full redundancy at every network router and switch. The redundant platform starts from the local private high-speed network up until our network providers.

    Advanced Control Panel

The CloudManage control panel offers you full control of your cloud storage drive(s). It is one of the first unique OpenStack cloud management panel offered in the industry. The new control panel is designed to offer full control over your cloud storage drives(s) while remaining extremely easy.

            More about Cloud Web Computing:

    It's virtual

Imagine racks of servers, humming along in a data center. Together, these servers become a massive pool of resources. Divide this "pool" into multiple virtual servers, and you create a "cloud."

    It can be secure

For the utmost security, create a private cloud on dedicated hardware. But always remember to put appropriate security measures in place, no matter which cloud you choose.

    It's flexible and scalable

Since virtual servers aren't physical, they are super flexible, giving you what you need at the moment. Spin up a server in minutes, and take it down just as easily.

    It can be affordable

You'll get the greatest cost savings in the public cloud, where your virtual servers run on physical servers that you share with other customers.

    It's open (or closed)

In the open cloud, you can easily move your cloud around—without being locked into one provider or a closed, proprietary technology.

It can be secure and affordable

A hybrid cloud gives you the benefits of both public and private clouds. For example, you can put public-facing components in a public cloud, while storing customer-sensitive data in a private cloud.
